Button Guide
Recording button
Press the recording button once while the device is in standby:
- The device plays a notification sound.
- The blue light flashes rapidly as warm-up begins.
- The actual recording starts once the blue light is solid.
Press it once again while recording:
- The device begins stopping the recording and finalizing the files.
- The green light flashes rapidly.
- Once the light returns to solid green, the recording has ended safely.
Pressing the button repeatedly within a short time will not make the device skip the required warm-up or finalization process.
Power button
When you press the power button to shut down, the device first stops any active recording, synchronizes the data, and plays a shutdown sound before shutting down safely.
Do not disconnect power as a substitute for a normal shutdown. Forcing the device to power off may leave the latest recording files incomplete.
Configuration button
With the current 0.5 firmware, the device plays a notification sound when it receives a configuration button event. It does not erase data or restore factory settings. Button labels may differ between hardware batches; refer to the label supplied with your device.
During a firmware update, the device blocks configuration and shutdown operations to prevent the update from being interrupted accidentally.
