5-Minute Quick Start

1. Turn on the device and wait

Install the SD card and turn on the device. Wait until the status light is solid green.

2. Connect the device

Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and open the EgoCap2 App. In the device list, select the EgoCap2 that matches your device's serial number. The serial number is usually printed on the device label.

To view a preview or download files, follow the prompts in the App to configure WiFi for the device.

3. Start recording

Select “Start Recording” in the App, or press the device's recording button once.

The device then goes through these stages:

1. Blue light flashing rapidly: The cameras and sensors are warming up and have not yet reached the stable saving stage.
2. Blue light solid: The actual recording has started.

Wait until the blue light is solid before beginning the activity you want to record.

4. Stop recording

Press the recording button again, or select “Stop Recording” in the App. The green light flashes rapidly while the device finishes writing the files.

Wait until the device returns to a solid green light before turning it off or removing the SD card.

5. Confirm the result

Open the new entry in the App's recording history, or connect to the device and view the latest session on the SD card. It should contain four video streams, audio, and sensor data.
