Before You Begin
What you need
- An EgoCap2 device
- A sufficiently charged battery or stable power supply
- A usable SD card
- A phone with Bluetooth enabled
- A WiFi network name and password when network access is needed
Before turning on the device
- Make sure the lens surfaces are clean and are not blocked or covered by protective film.
- Insert the SD card fully into the slot.
- Check the device for visible damage, loose parts, or water ingress.
- Connect a stable power supply, or make sure the battery has enough charge for the recording.
:::warning Protect your recording data Do not disconnect power or remove the SD card while the device is recording, finalizing a stopped recording, or updating its firmware. :::
After turning on the device
Wait until the status light is solid green. A solid green light means the device is in standby and you can connect the App or start recording.
If the status light continues flashing abnormally, see Indicator lights and do not immediately begin an important recording.
